Rev. Elizabeth Moses

The Holy Spirit opened up windows and doors which made it possible for me to accept the call to serve as pastor of Stone Presbyterian Church.  I started my ministry at Stone Presbyterian Church in January 2017.
I have a B.A. from Eckerd College (St. Petersburg, FL); Sociology major.  Then went on to graduate from Union Presbyterian Seminary (The Presbyterian School of Christian Education) in 1988 with a M.A. and served as a Certified Christian Educator for five different congregations.  In 2013 I was ordained a Teaching Elder (Minister of Word and Sacrament) in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)  This is my second call as a minister.
At my core, I am a teacher.  I love facilitating opportunities for people to grow in their faith and helping them discover ways to use their gifts and talents to help bring about the Kingdom of God.
Along with being a pastor, I am a mother to my daughter, Jennell (2000) who I adopted at birth.  She keeps me busy in my free time.  I grew up an Air Force “Brat” so where ever the furniture and family is is home.  I enjoy visiting with people, reading, swimming, knitting when I have time, drinking Diet Pepsi and watching NCIS.
You are welcome to come join us for worship on Sunday mornings or for any of the other programs at Stone Presbyterian Church.  I am sure you will find it a warm, hospitable congregation, as I have.

Peace and Grace,
Pastor Libby Moses
